Condition Report:
Since its inception in 1968, the Seiko 5 collection of watches has been known for their reliability and value. In 1996, the line introduced the 7S26-6000 series, which houses the 7S26 movement. It features 21 jewels, running at 21600 bph, an accuracy of +45/-35 seconds per day, and has a 41-hour power reserve. The SKXL15 was part of this line, which boasted a broad range of dial configurations and intricacies, making them highly collectable.
The case measures 35mm in diameter and 39mm lug to lug, with a thickness of 10.6mm. With a small and slim profile, it makes for an excellent everyday watch. The dial, as mentioned, is matte black with white printing, applied logos, and a day/date window at 4 o'clock. Even in low-light conditions, the hour and minute hands and indexes are illuminated. Protecting the dial is the original hardlex crystal, which features 'Seiko 5' branding at 6 o'clock.
The crown winds smoothly, and the watch is in full working order. Quickset is functional to set the day and date, while the movement doesn't support hand-winding or hacking. The Jubilee bracelet with foldover clasp is in brand new condition with full links.
