The Rolex Submariner - a true classic. When introduced in 1953, the model helped meet the demand that divers were looking for as the sport grew during the era. The Submariner quickly became a fashion accessory rather than a tool watch due to its uncomplicated design and tasteful charm. Most notably, seen on the wrist of James Bond in Sean Connery's day, the Submariner has captured the hearts and donned the wrists of many watch aficionados.
This Rolex Submariner 16610 is in excellent pre-owned condition. Recently serviced in early 2021 it's ready to wear on the wrist. The watch has light wear on the bezel around 11 o'clock and 2 o'clock, minor dust marks near the cyclops window and a tiny ding within a crown groove. There appears to be little to no signs of polishing as the case remains exceptionally sharp. The bracelet has very little stretch given its age. The crown features Rolex's "triplock" system allowing the watch to fully sealed for water wear. The dial, caseback, movement, crown, and bracelet are all signed by Rolex. The serial dates this watch at 2007 and comes with its original outer and inner box, both boxes have seen damage but are legible and there are no papers.
