Condition Report:
The dial is original with "Swiss T < 25" still present under 6 o'clock. The original tritium hands have developed a soft white patina while the hour makers have built a gorgeous creamy tone. The caseback, movement, and crown are all signed by Rolex. The crown features Rolex's "triplock" system allowing the watch to be fully sealed for water wear. The 93150 bracelet has little to no stretch given its age and it comes with a total of 12 links and diver's extension, which will allow for large wrist sizes. There are only extremely minor hairline scratches on the case sides and bracelet. The case itself has seen polishing but remains true to shape and lines. The crystal is clean and sees little dust or wear. The watch is currently running at +3 seconds per day.
Rolex Submariner History:
The Rolex Submariner - a true classic. When introduced in 1953 the model helped meet the demand that divers were looking for as the sport grew during the era. The Submariner quickly became a fashion accessory rather than a tool watch due to its uncomplicated design and tasteful charm. Most notably seen on the wrist of James Bond in Sean Connery's day, the Submariner has captured the hearts and donned the wrists of many watch aficionados.
