This Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 126719BLRO 'Meteorite' Dial is in excellent condition. From 2022 it comes as a full set with its outer box, inner box, warranty card, manuals, serial number swing tag and COSC swing tag. Its warranty is still intact until 2027 by Rolex. An incredible piece for those who will love and enjoy the timeless GMT with a unique dial.
Condition Report:
Clearly the dial is of greatest interest with this watch. Around 4 billion years ago a meteoroid that was likely formed as part of an exploding star or in the molten core of a doomed asteroid began its journey towards Earth. A few billion four hundred million years later it hits Earths atmosphere over what we now call Nambia breaking into small pieces as it fell to the surface. 600 million years after its impact Rolex purchased an assortment of pieces from this ancient space rock and has crafted some of the most interesting and rare dials to date. Each dial is effectively "one of one" with its own natural shade and markings.
The watch is in excellent condition with little wear present across the watch, there are only minor hairlines around the case sides and bezel. The white gold bracelet and the bracelet clasp are in excellent condition with little to no wear present. With Rolex's new Easylink comfort extension link the Oyster bracelet is exceptionally comfortable and easy to adjust. Full links are provided with the bracelet which allows for many wrist sizes to wear this piece.
The Cerachrom "Pepsi" bezel is designed to show the time in two different time zones simultaneously during intercontinental flights, the GMT-Master II has come to be known for its robustness and versatile appearance. Finally, the automatice movement powering the watch is the Caliber. 3285 from Rolex with a 70-hour power reserve. It also allows for a quickset date and hour function.
