This Rolex Daytona Two Tone Zenith 'Inverted 6', is in great condition. From 1996 (T serial), it comes with its inner box, outer box, original papers, service papers from 2016 by Rolex, booklets, swing tags and receipts.

Condition Report:
This Ref. 16523 model features a two-tone stainless steel and 18k yellow gold Oyster case, which gives it a timeless and elegant look. The case is in great condition with only minor hairline scratches, the original owner has only requested the stainless steel to be polished and its original lines remain sharp. The case measures 40mm in diameter and is complemented by a matching two-tone 78393 Oyster bracelet with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp.

The dial of this Daytona is a beautiful champagne gold and features three contrasting sub-dials in black that display the chronograph function. The hour markers are also made from 18k yellow gold. The hands and hour markers are filled with tritium with "T Swiss" present under 6 o'clock. The 'inverted six' dial is a rare factory occurrence from Rolex where on the sub-dial at 6 o'clock (the hour totaliser) the "6" was inverted which makes it appear as a "9".

One of the standout features of the Daytona Ref. 16523 is its bezel, which is made of 18k yellow gold and features a tachymeter scale. This scale allows the wearer to calculate average speeds over a measured distance, making it a useful tool for measuring speed during races or other sports events. The sapphire crystal is clean and shows little dust or wear.

The caseback, movement, and crown are all signed by Rolex; the crown in particular exudes its logo well. The crown features Rolex's "triplock" system, allowing the watch to be fully sealed for water resistance. Powering the watch is the Caliber. 4030, a Zenith movement (used by the El Primero) that was modified in-house by Rolex with a 54-hour power reserve. The watch is fully functional and winds smoothly, it is currently running at -2 seconds per day.
