This Rolex Day-Date 40 Platinum Ref. 228206 is in excellent condition. From 2022, it comes as a full set with its outer box, inner box, warranty card, manuals, serial number swing tag, and COSC swing tag. Its warranty is still intact until 2027, from Rolex. An incredible option for those who want one of Rolex's most exclusive modern timepieces. This specific configuration of the Day-Date was discontinued in 2022.

Condition Report:
The Day-Date has been the premier watch within Rolex's catalog since 1956. It was the first wristwatch ever to display both the date and the day of the week in its entirety. The Day-Date has become synonymous with luxury, as Rolex only makes the watch in precious metals and reserves its most luxurious stones, gems, and diamonds for this line.

The measurements of the watch are 40mm in case size, 12mm in thickness, and 47.3mm from lug-to-lug. A factory protective sticker is still applied to the bottom right lug. The case is in excellent condition, with only minor hairline scratches present around the case sides and it’s smooth bezel.

Accompanying the 950 pt case and bracelet is the well-known Ice Blue dial, a special dial colour specially reserved for platinum Rolex watches. Its cool, blue hue draws the eye in, allowing you to be lost in its spectacular colour and detail. The hour markers are hand-applied Roman numerals made from 18k solid white gold. At 12 o'clock is the day display in English, and at 3 o'clock is the date aperture. The dial is free of any marks or blemishes, there are only minor dust marks near the cyclops. 

Finally, the watch is mounted onto the iconic Presidential bracelet made from platinum with full links. The bracelet and clasp are in excellent condition, with minimal scratches present on the centre links.
