This specific Speedmaster from 1998 is in great condition, the bracelet is crisp with full links on offer and minimal stretch. The glass has seen minor scratches but is in great condition. Overall the condition of the case, hands and dial are clean with minor hairlines. It comes with the original box, card holder and original cards (papers).
At 38.5mm diameter is slightly on the smaller side of average for a modern watch, and a chronograph at that, though it’s nothing extreme. Additionally, the measurement from the case back to the top of the domed hesalite crystal is just under 12mm, which is impressive for an automatic chronograph. The snap-on case back features Omega’s hippocampus engraving.
Omega Speedmaster Reduced History:
First launched as a watch for race car drivers in 1957 and later linked to mankind's greatest leap in 1969. The Omega Speedmaster Automatic Ref. 3510.50 is commonly known as the “Reduced” because of its dimensions. Often referred to as the little brother of Omega's Speedmaster Moonwatch there's nothing little about what the Reduced has to offer - a clean and striking dial, an automatic chronograph movement and the history behind one of horology's most famous brands.
