Overall, the watch is in excellent condition for its age, presenting with the composure and integrity of a piece that has been carefully kept across six decades. The silver dial is original and shows no signs of having been refinished — the baton hour markers are clean and intact, and the soft impressed minute track retains its delicate definition throughout. The steel baton hands are sharp and correct for the reference.

The 35mm stainless steel case presents with minimal signs of polishing — the lines remain sharp and well-defined, and the case retains the proportions and surface quality close to how it left the factory. The original IWC crown is intact and winds the movement smoothly without resistance. The plexiglass crystal is in good order.

The watch is presented on a new black epsom leather strap by Artisan Straps, fitted with a brushed stainless steel buckle — a considered pairing that complements the steel case without competing with the quiet character of the dial.
