This Grand Seiko Elegance 'Mount Iwate' Ref. SBGK005 from 2019 is in near new condition. It comes with its inner box, outer box, accessories and original receipt. The watch was limited to only 1,500 units worldwide. It currently sits on the original dark midnight blue crocodile leather strap with stainless steel deployant clasp, but also is accompanied with the Grand Seiko bead of rice stainless steel bracelet. Overall the watch is in excellent ready for its new owner.

Condition Report:
Firstly, you'll immediately notice the deep blue textured dial which is absolutely breathtaking. The texture can be described as a brushed sunburst effect with natural lines evoking a wabi-sabi nature. Its inspiration is 'Mount Iwate', a large volcano that is located near the Grand Seiko's Morioka watchmaking facility. Applied hour markers are present along with a printed minute track set within the markers, a running seconds sub dial at nine o'clock (with a scale), a power reserve indicator at three o'clock (72-hour power reserve), and the Grand Seiko logo at 12 o'clock.

The stainless steel case is in extremely good condition and measures 39mm in diameter and 11.6mm in thickness. Rounded edges allow for the lugs to be shortened allowing for more depth to the face and making the watch feel closer to 40mm in size. The sapphire case back is see-through allowing the Caliber. 9S63 to be on display, it features a 72-hour power reserve and is operated manually.

The new owner of this beautiful watch has the option to wear it with either; the original dark midnight blue crocodile leather strap with stainless steel deployant clasp (which features the vintage Grand Seiko logo) or the Grand Seiko bead of rice stainless steel bracelet - which was available only as an add-on. It is often rare to find both strap options sold together, and who doesn't love more strap options.

Grand Seiko is the brand that keeps on giving, it's swiftly becoming the "watch enthusiasts" brand due to their passion and commitment to excellent watchmaking. With that being said the SBGK005 is a watch for someone who wants something beautiful, elegant and under the radar - it's a watch that won't catch every glance in the room but when it does they'll be impressed.
