We're pleased to offer this excellent example from the 1990's. A classic take on an icon the watch features a rare dial with extended and warped Roman numerals, blue sword hands and blue cabochon crown. It's mounted onto a new black leather strap with its original Cartier buckle.

Report

Overall, the watch is in excellent condition, with only minimal scratches across the case. The dial is in excellent condition and is clean, with minimal wear present. Blue sword hands mark the hour and minutes; both are in excellent condition.

The watch comes on a brand new black leather strap, along with its original Cartier buckle. The sapphire crown winds well and sits subtly at 3 o'clock.

Louis Cartier invented the Cartier Tank in 1917. Known today as the brand's most iconic watch, the name and design are derived from the Renault FT-17, a French tank that was used in combat throughout World War One. Using rectangular and square lines as the shape of the watch, it keeps a relatively slim profile.
