A brand that doesn't receive the credit it deserves is Bulgari. The Italian luxury house produces watches that are unique in design and also hold watchmaking provenance. Of late, their Octo Finissimo range has made headway in the watch industry, known for its incredibly thin, flat design and being exceptionally light. "Octo" meaning octogonal relates to the case shape of the watch which is exceptionally unique, similar to the likes of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.
Condition Report:
Purchased earlier this year, the watch is in excellent condition. Casted in ceramic, it has the benefit of being heavily scratch-resistant, so wear and tear is next to invisible. Monochromatic in colour with its full black construction, the Octo Finissimo Skeleton offers connoisseurs an insight into the inner workings of its movement and architecture. The case measures a handsome 40mm by 5.8mm thick; it's an ultra-thin construction, feeling similar to a bracelet when on the wrist.
Developed, produced, and assembled in-house, the Octo Finissimo Skeleton uses the BVL 128SK manual wind movement, which has a power reserve of 65 hours. The watch also features a black ceramic crown set with a ceramic element and a black ceramic strap with a folding clasp. The watch is water-resistant up to 30 metres. It's accompanied by its box, papers, and accessories.
