This Baltic x Revolution & The Rake Bicompax Pulso is in excellent condition. In 2021, cult favourite watch brand Baltic collaborated with The Rake & Revolution Magazine to release this exemplar piece, a manually winding chronograph with a stunning salmon dial. Limited to just 250 pieces, it is regarded as a full set, accompanied by its box and warranty card.
Condition Report:
The watch is in excellent condition, with only minor hairline scratches. Measuring 36.5mm in diameter, 12.5mm in thickness, and 45.5 mm lug to lug, it is suitable for many wrist types. The 316L stainless steel case is gently curved with tapered, drilled lugs. Along the right side of the watch are the chronograph pushers and an oversized crown, following the inspiration of vintage 40s and 50s chronographs.
A domed hesalite crystal protects the dial, which is the true show stopper. The salmon sector dial features a circular pattern with texture. An outer pulsometer (used to measure pulse or heart rate) is printed on the dial, along with an inner minute track and two subdials registering 60-seconds (at 9 o'clock) and 30-minutes (at 3 o'clock). Leaf hands executed in steel are used for the hour and minutes with a lollipop seconds hand. At 6 o'clock, there is an applied star logo for the collaboration, while the back of the case features The Rake & Revolution engraving.
Powering the watch is the Seagull ST 1901. This is a well-known and reliable manually wound movement. It features 21 jewels and a frequency of 21,600 beats per hour. The watch comes fitted on its original 20mm brown leather strap, which features a Baltic buckle, along with its box and papers.
