The Rolex Datejust has been the backbone of Rolex's catalog since 1945. In this specific reference 1601 from 1973, it has everything you want and need in an everyday watch - an easy to read date function, fluted white gold bezel, a gorgeous Jubilee bracelet and the iconic 1570 caliber running under the caseback. This particular watch has a lovely warmed dial featuring the Sigma logo under the 6 o'clock position adjacent to the "Swiss" tagline. Serial has been checked as 34XXXXX pointing to a 1973 production date.

Personal Comments:
The Datejust is one of the most easiest to wear watches - the ability to pair this from a double breasted suit to even sweatpants while making a grocery run concludes it is the perfect companion for anyone. I personally believe a vintage Datejust is a must have for any collector to own or for anyone looking for their first Rolex.
