Try On Policy:
We have a two day watch try on policy. This timeframe starts the day the watch is delivered based on shipping tracking information. We encourage all buyers to inspect the watch in detail, we find this very important when purchasing vintage/pre-owned watches.
If you change your mind or should the watch not meet your expectations, the buyer may ship the watch back for a full refund. Postage and insurance will be covered by the buyer and the watch must be in its original condition when it was sold. Standard refund times are 3-14 business days once the watch has been delivered to us.
Note this policy only applies to watches sold in-person or via our website.
We do not accept returns for items outside of our try on policy for change of mind, damage done to the watch or failure of watch operation (if outside of our 30 day warranty). However please contact us and we will do our best to cater to your needs.
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can remedy the situation.
Natural wear and tear, scratches and other knicks and dents may be present on vintage/pre-owned watches - this is not considered "damaged" or an "issue". We do our best to capture any of these within the listing notes and imagery.
While we list as much as possible in regards to the condition of the watch some parts may have been replaced (with same brand parts) over time due to servicing and repairs. We cannot guarantee any original parts as to when the watch left its maker and can only provide our best judgement as based on our research, knowledge and guided expertise.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to process a refund, return or exchange.
Wynn & Thayne is pleased to provide a 30 day warranty on all watches that have been listed on the website for sale. The warranty includes any mechanical servicing if the watch stops working.
This warranty does not include any polishing or cosmetic changes to the watch. It also does not include any servicing if the watch has changed in timekeeping accuracy, if it has been dropped, physically damaged in any shape or form or put under water. While each watch is tested and checked, we cannot guarantee their timekeeping and waterproofness due to their vintage and/or second hand nature.
If you are looking for a specific watch our sales team may be able to source and acquire the watch of your desires. Through our wide networks globally we may find exactly what you're looking for.
Please email email@example.com if you are interested.
Yes you can! We are currently taking stock of new, vintage and second hand watches from Rolex, Cartier, Omega, Seiko, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet & more.
Our buying process is selective as we look for great examples or unique items that we know our audience will love and buy.
If you're wanting to sell a watch, send us the details via our Sell or Trade form and we will make an offer to buy your watch outright or propose consigning your watch.
Consignment is a method of sale where we sell the watch on behalf of you and take a small commission for our work. When the watch sells you will be paid out the sale price minus our commission/consignment fee, which will be deposited into a bank account of your choice.
The consignment rate varies from piece to piece. Often consigning your watch with us will return you the highest value. We ask that items be consigned for a minimum of three months. If an item does not sell we will return the item directly back to the client or make a cash offer.
