How To Purchase & Prices:
Our prices listed online are based on the country you are visiting from: NZD (New Zealand), AUD (Australia), and USD (Rest of the World). If you are visiting the website from outside of New Zealand, then the listed price is exclusive of New Zealand GST (15%).
Watches under $15,000 NZD can be purcahsed directly via online checkout. Any watch over this value must be enquired before purchasing.
Payment Methods:
Bank/Wire Transfer: Please contact us for our bank details if you would like to pay via bank transfer. We have bank accounts in NZD, AUD, USD, EUR, and CAD if you would like to make a payment in any of those currencies.
Credit Card: Via our online checkout and our invoicing system, we accept a range of cards from Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.
Note all watches remain the property of Wynn & Thayne and will not be shipped or available for pickup until funds have been securely received in full.
Shipping & Postage:
All watches are shipped free of charge by New Zealand Post (overnight), Urgent Courier (same day) within New Zealand, or DHL Express (2-7 business days) for the rest of the world. Packages strictly require a signature for delivery and are insured for their full value.
Goods, accessories and books are charged a small shipping fee due to their size and weight. Rates can be found below:
New Zealand: New Zealand Post Courier [Insured & Tracked] (1-2 Working Days): $10.00 NZD
Australia: NZ Post Courier [Insured & Tracked] (2-7 Working Days): $25.00 NZD
Rest Of World: DHL Express [Insured & Tracked] (2-7 Business Days): $40.00 NZD
Duties & Import Taxes:
Any import duty and taxes upon delivery are the sole responsibility of the purchaser or receiver, and we will not undervalue or underdeclare goods to avoid duties. We do not issue any refunds, credits, or similar for any import costs incurred.
Returns Policy:
All watches have a two-day hassle-free return policy. This timeframe starts the day the watch is delivered, based on shipping tracking information. We encourage all buyers to inspect the watch in detail; we find this very important when purchasing vintage or pre-owned watches.
We do not accept returns for items outside of our two-day policy for change of mind, damage done to the watch, or failure of the watch's operation. However, please contact us, and we will do our best to cater to your needs.
Note that this policy only applies to watches sold in-person or via our website and does not include external platforms such as Chrono24 or TradeMe.
Refunds:
If you do change your mind or the watch does not meet your expectations within our two-day return policy, the buyer may ship the watch back for a full refund. We will not refund any watch returned back to us outside of this period.
Postage and insurance will be covered by the buyer, and the watch must be in its original condition when it was sold. Standard refund times are 3–14 business days once the watch has been delivered to us.

Wynn & Thayne is pleased to provide a 30-day warranty on all watches that have been listed for sale on our website. The warranty includes mechanical servicing if the watch stops working.
This warranty does not include any polishing or cosmetic changes to the watch. It also does not include any servicing if the watch has changed in timekeeping accuracy, if it has been dropped, physically damaged in any shape or form, or if it has been put under water. While each watch is tested and checked, we cannot guarantee their timekeeping and waterproofness due to their vintage and/or second-hand nature.
If you are looking for a specific watch, our sales team may be able to source and acquire it. Through our wide networks globally, we may find exactly what you're looking for.
- A 50% deposit is required to secure any watch (offers above are valid for 3 days), and prices are final
- The rest of the balance is due upon viewing or once the item is ready for collection
- 50% of your deposit is withheld. If you do not want to proceed with completing your purchase, the remaining balance is refunded back to you
- Payment via bank/wire transfer or credit card is accepted (surcharge may apply for credit card)
- Items can take 5–12 working days to be ready for collection from the date of deposit

Wynn & Thayne is pleased to have a partnership with Auckland International Airport. This allows us to offer tax-free pricing (15%) on select watches when a client is departing Auckland International Airport for an overseas destination.
The client will be required to collect their purchase tax-free within the following 3 months (90 days) from the date on their final paid invoice. Failure to do so legally requires Wynn & Thayne to charge New Zealand GST at a rate of 15% on top of the listed total.
