A Year in Review, Celebrating 2024's Achievements and Looking Ahead
As 2024 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on what has been an exceptional year for Wynn & Thayne. This year has been a remarkable journey, filled with travel both locally and internationally, as we expanded our network of clients and business partners across the globe. I’m immensely proud of how far we’ve come in our mission to deliver the finest quality and service to our clients.
A particular highlight of 2024 was sourcing rare and unique timepieces that found their way into the collections of passionate enthusiasts. Approximately 45% of our trade this year involved sourcing watches for clients, with iconic names such as Patek Philippe, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, and Cartier among them. We also streamlined our services, making the process of buying or selling treasured watches more seamless than ever.
Another unforgettable moment was visiting wholesalers in Japan. Standing amidst over $100,000,000 USD worth of watches in stock at any given time was both overwhelming and inspiring. Witnessing such a vast array of styles and brands firsthand was a truly enriching experience.
As we embrace the holiday season, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for being part of our journey. Whether you’ve entrusted us with a purchase, reached out to connect, or followed along as we’ve grown, your support means the world to us.
Our operations will pause from December 19th and resume on January 6th, 2025. Any orders or inquiries will be handled with care upon our return.
For 2025, my goal is to continue delivering exceptional service while focusing on the brands that hold a special place in my heart. I foresee an exciting opportunity to expand within the neo-vintage and vintage market, particularly in Australasia, where there’s a notable gap waiting to be filled.
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year. Here’s to new discoveries and milestones in 2025.
