Condition Report:
The SBDC107 is a modern re-interpretation of Seiko's 1965 SPB149J1. As a dive watch, the SBDC107 has a water resistance rating of 200 metres, making this watch capable of withstanding the rigours of deep-sea diving and other aquatic activities. The watch also features a screw-down crown and case back, which help to ensure that it remains watertight even under extreme conditions. There is also the unidirectional black bezel, which is capable of performing any timing. Minimal wear is present on the bezel.
In terms of design, the watch is housed in a stainless steel case with a brushed finish and a sea blue dial with Lumi Brite hands and markers for improved visibility in low-light conditions. The case measures 40.5mm wide and 13.2mm thick. The yellow seconds hand nicely contrasts against the blue dial and the stainless steel hour and minute hands. Overall, the case is in excellent condition.
Powering the watch is the Seiko Caliber. 6R35, an automatic movement that has a power reserve of 70 hours and also features hacking and can be hand-wound. The watch also features a date display at the 3 o'clock position that can be quick set. The watch is currently mounted on an extremely high-quality silicone strap that is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust due to its longer length. Also included is a Seiko stainless steel bracelet which is wrapped and is brand new.
